Jbeil (Edde Yard) - Part II
Back in Jbeil by popular demand, Soapkills and The New Government pair up for another bloody soap opera. You are kindly requested to invade the place.
This band is so cool I was traveliing from Sao Paolo to Istambul..I stoped in beirut for the night and asked a taxi driver to take me out...he took me to the Monot street and i saw them .. they are excellent and very profesional.. i would ;love to take you guys to rio de janeiro but i guess your prise is too expensive ... :) keep up the good spirit Mais e todo bom caras....
Let us go back to Jbeil for a sec...did we tell people about the kind of exquisite food that Olivier (ze french "chef" of ze soirée) is lovingly preparing for each and everyone of you coming this thursday ? shhh..just close your eyes and imagine : perfect drum beat, flaming heavenly guitars, "suave" yet punkish voices + a fantastic piece of meat, pouring wine and a delicate fig and balsamic sauce salad. My oh my, can't wait, Olivier à tes fourneaux !!!!
The last gig of the summer was truely expressive in the way where it defined the end of a summer, the blackout was nonetheless wicked with some frail yet strong drum beats lingering through silence... My filet de boeuf was very fin too, the cold wine spinning on my skirt... The people were fun and done if i may say ... only to cherish the moments made funkier by our NEW GOVERNMENT ... The people await ...
Hehehehe, once again we spent a good time with this unique band, drinking wine, eating the finest meat and sweating like pigs 'coz we were surrounded by so many people! But this is a perfect atmosphere to enjoy THE NEW GOVERNMENT to the max...
Sorry for the wine on your beautiful skirt Wickeddish, i won't be so clumsy next time :P
a lot cuter than deir el qamar, a lot more chaotic, but in a nice cute way that I think everyone accepted. Too bad you're not having more concerts.. I liked the set-up with having soapkills first, then the new government, in terms of energy. Prefer both together though. bisous
